cHubby's been sick. He's got strep throat and I'm tired of making soup. We've had soup all week and I'M OVER IT. We had to look up on my blog what we did for my birthday last year because neither of us could remember. We find ourselves doing that a lot, time just goes by.

Last weekend we met up with a couple that we met up at Lizard Island. We had a wonderful meal and exchanged memories of what seemed like forever ago, but was only two months past. This year has been ridiculously busy.

I've been spending a lot of my time thinking about going back to school. We've established that we are going to be down here for another 2 years and I would really like to start researching and studying again. I'd like to look at Australian Korean Adoptees and their identity formation and community ties. It's interesting because part of me wants to move back to Korea just to be around other adoptees but I just don't know if I could handle the family stress that I have when I'm there. Besides our life in Australia is quite nice and we don't quite well for ourselves considering where we came from.

cHubby got an interesting email from a friend of mine from high school. Don't really keep in contact with a lot people from Lewiston because it seems so strange that the people that I thought were so close to me really wanted to hurt me in university.

It's my birthday so maybe I'm getting nostalgic and from stalking people on Facebook, but I feel old. I don't know but it seems like we should be settling down and starting a family but I can barely take care of myself.
